Warrior Quest

Virtual Game Introduction

Story

Our board game takes you to the ancient Aztec empire, where the gods of fire and water compete to determine the fate of men, and men must battle to earn the rank of warrior. In this game, we follow the story of Yaotl, the semi-god son of Tlaloc, the god of rain. You may either play as one of the contenders from another village, or as Yaotl, who as a young man dreams of earning the rank of Aztec warrior.

About

You play as one of four Aztecs who want to become warriors. In order to become a warrior, you must first collect at least three different colored feathers that are scattered around four villages. When you reach a village, you must answer a question to prove your knowledge about the Aztec culture. If by any chance you encounter other players along your quest, you must fight them in a Spell Battle! Once you have all the required feathers, you must return to the top of the temple and answer a final question. This is where your quest ends and you become an Aztec Warrior!

Rules

All players start at the top of the temple. When it's your turn, roll both dice and choose one to move your token that number of spaces. You must move your token on every turn. You may move in either direction, or along any of the step paths. When you land in a colored question space, another player reads a question from that village's card deck. If you answer correctly, you earn a feather of that color. At any time, if more than one token is on the same square and at least one player has feathers, those players must battle to steal a feather. When a player reaches the top of the temple with three different color feathers, they choose a question category. They win if they correctly answer from that category.
